I received the following account:
“I'm contacting you from Sacramento, California. My story is a pretty scary one. I haven't told many people this throughout my life. I'm 46 now. I remember the weather was hot, so it must have been around June or August during the summer months. I was in the sixth grade, and my family was on vacation. I was at home; I didn't go with them. Where they went, I can't remember now, but grandpa stayed with me, and he was in the living room while I was coloring at the dining room table. In my room, I had one of those old organs, and down the hallway, I could hear music coming from it. I knew I hadn't left it on, and it didn't play by itself. It was beautiful yet eerie.
I kept coloring, thinking it would end soon, but it kept going. I grew more curious, so when I walked down the hallway, I felt a chill in the air. Grandpa had told me a couple of months earlier that if I ever encountered anything scary, just to call on the name of Jesus, and everything would be alright.
I became increasingly scared as I walked up the hallway to my room. I called on the name of Jesus, but it didn't go away. I got so close to the doorway that the music was blasting in my ears. I didn't know what to do; I didn't want to go back and get grandpa because I thought I could handle this myself. When I quickly turned into the doorway, there was a being that I can't describe to anyone, but I've drawn pictures of it. It was unearthly. I have no formal description to express what it looked like, but it was red and glowing. It must have been a demon that I saw. It was using its hand-like fingers on my organ player, looking straight at me with yellow eyes. It was the most unbelievable, indescribable being, and I am shaking right now.
But it challenged me at the age of six years. I said, in the name of Jesus Christ, be gone, I command you! And it lifted its head up, as if it had never been told this before, and just vanished.” C
