"The entity steps close to my nephew, swats the toy dog, and then scratches him. At this point, he cries, and you see as my sister goes to him and turns off the recorder."
I received the following account:
"Hello. Here is the backstory. About 15 years ago, my nephew was about 5 years of age when he started mentioning an imaginary friend that kept messing with him. My sister, thinking about how kids always have some sort of imaginary friend, thought nothing of it and proceeded on like it was his imagination. As a few weeks went by my little nephew kept mentioning about how the "imaginary friend" was being really mean to him and stealing his toys from him.
My sister finally got a bit scared since, at the same time, she started to have bad nightmares about someone stealing her baby (my nephew) while she was in bed, unable to move. Every time, she said she didn't see anything or anyone, just a black figure as if covered with a fog machine that has black fog slowly making the baby rise outta his bed as if someone was cradling him.
She decided to place a camera in his room and let him play like usual to see if she could catch anything. This was a bad move from her as it is now apparent that whatever it was got angry because of the camera and lashed out at my nephew. My sister was in another room at the time and ran towards my nephew's play area as he started wailing and crying so loud as if he just got hit. My sister managed to calm him down enough, and he said, "He scratched me, he doesn't let me play with my toy! " As well as pointing at his arms to show her what looked like scratched marks bright red scratches and bearly showing blood, as if he only managed to break a small part of the skin to make it bleed. She proceeded to grab the camera, end the recording, and drive straight to my mom's house, rushing to get my nephew away from the apartment.
There she explained what happened to my mom and she (my mom) proceeds to call my grandma who in turn directed her towards a local 'curandero" (we are Mexican American) sort of like a Mexican witch doctor that rubs all types of herbs on my nephew to "purify" him as well as my sister from the bad spirits. He lets us know that someone has put a curse on my sister because of jealousy and that she needs to move apartments because a tragedy will unfold.
I was very skeptical all the while since all of this seemed made up until my sister showed us and the "witch doctor" the footage that was recorded footage. In the tape, you can see my little nephew playing with his toy truck while talking to someone. Soon after, it looks like my little nephew is getting irritated and tells his imaginary friend to leave him alone. A few seconds of my nephew staring right beside him passed and then you can see it, some little humanoid figure (you cant see its face as he is facing away from the camera) that is dressed like Peter Pan, green overalls and even the hat as well as a belt that looks like the one construction workers use. He steps close to my nephew, swats the toy dog, and then scratches him. At this point, he cries, and you see as my sister goes to him and turns off the recorder.
After this, the "witch doctor" kept doing all sorts of things with different herbs, all the while singing or chanting in some weird language (not Spanish). At the end of it, he produced a small cup with what looked like when you boiled down coke, and it turns into a gooey paste except it had a really dark green color to it. She had to smear that on the apartment around any entrance as well as all sides of her windows.
After all of that, the nightmares and his "imaginary friend" stopped appearing. Needless to say, my sister moved out of the apartment a few weeks later and has made it a MUST to bless all the places where she lives. We asked my nephew, since he is now about 20 years old, about the event, and he says he doesn't recall anything.
We've also tried going over the disc recently but found it weird how it's blank. Using the computer, it reads as a new disc, and I have tried various software to see if I could somehow recover the data with no luck.
I tend not to believe in the supernatural, but when things happen inside your family, it's hard to ignore." S
