I recently received the following account:
"Hi, Lon. I just watched your latest YouTube video April 11, 2025 regarding dogman, lycans, and cryptid canines. I moved back to Guntersville, Alabama around 5 years ago. I grew up in Guntersville, moved to Cottondale, Alabama, and now back home to Guntersville. I had previously sent you encounters I experienced in the Tuscaloosa/Cottondale area.
I have heard things here in Guntersville over the years but nothing like what I heard around a year ago.
Around 10 pm my dog was going crazy to get outside. I took her out and stayed with her to see what she was so upset about. Everything got quiet. No sound whatsoever. Then I heard a growl that turned into a roar that went right through me. I have never heard anything like it. My dog froze. She turned to me and for the 1st time minded me when I told her to get in the house. We both ran in afraid of what we just heard. My Mom asked me what was wrong when she saw the scared dog and the look on my face." KV
