I received the following account:
Hi. I've read a few of your reports about the Glimmerman phenomenon and decided to contact you. In 1999, the year I graduated from college, my buddy and I were in Crooked Lake, Wisconsin. It was late afternoon at around 5 pm. It was late spring and full daylight. We had parked on County Road W in an area where there was a clearing of around 20 square yards. We were both leaning on the car just looking around when I saw what looked like the cloaked 'Predator' from the film, run along the tree line.
I hesitated for a second, then turned to my buddy and asked him, "Have you ever seen that movie Predator?"
He replied, "I just saw it too dude!"
We remained calm, finished our beers (the first beer of the day as we were completely sober), and then got the hell out of there.
That spring, there was 1 other time wherein I saw something running along the tree line while cloaked like the Predator. It was while I looking out the bay window of my friend's cabin. It was running through the front yard along the tree line. The cabin was in the same general area, but north of Crooked Lake.
In both instances, it had a human-like form but was almost transparent. Very weird." F
