An experiencer describes their harrowing encounter with a possible Glimmer Man or other non-corporeal entity while walking on a trail during the winter.
I received the following account in my Phantoms & Monsters Radio comments:
"This happened to me 8 years ago during my senior year in high school. One day I decided to leave school early and walk in the woods by myself during the winter. As a usual teenager, a free soul didn't care about anything, sorta fog-brained, you all know what I mean.
So I left around 11 AM, went for a walk, and walked all over the woods enjoying the views, and breathing the beautiful air, amazing. But then I walked up a trail in a circular motion like a rotary! Bushes blocking the middle like a rotary, let's say from the first exit. I was at the third exit and walking when all of a sudden I heard leaves and snow crunching on the other side of the pine bushes. I can still see what's on the other side, the bush's leaves were like brush bristles, so I stopped and I froze and my heart started pounding because I knew nobody was nearby and no voices were heard.
But then I heard the leaves getting crunched and they were pacing faster the closer they got. My vision went to a vignette. My fight-or-flight response kicked in because I saw the prints in the snow and the leaves and debris kicking behind the steps!
I ran, and it quickly began following me. I had plenty of speed and stamina. I ran as if my life depended on it. I came to an open area on the trail, looked behind me, and there was no one.
I'll never forget that incident to this day. I'll never forget how I heard the steps and saw nothing. But when my brain processed that there was something, though I just couldn't make it out, I panicked and ran for my life!
I have told this story only a few times. I've gone through paranormal stuff my whole life. I've seen gnomes, demons, angels, UFOs, spirits, etc., and even experienced it with groups of people and friends! I know this may sound weird, but it makes me happy that when people stay for a long time in my life, they eventually go through a spiritual or paranormal experience with me because then they know I'm not crazy when I tell my stories.
I just have so many experiences I'm going to start commenting more on YouTube and share them with the community, I know I'm not the only one that has seen these things." V
