A Charlotte, NC resident contacted me about 2 encounters that she had with, what seems to be, 2 different winged humanoids in her neighborhood. The creature followed her to her residence.
I received the following account on 9/6/2024:
"Hi there. I walk two dogs every night in the spring, summer, and fall. We take the same route all the time. This past spring, I witnessed a winged humanoid. It started off in a tree behind a house we were walking past. What made me look was that my dog was extremely fearful and wanted to go across the street; she is a pit bull.
So once I saw it up in the tree and the tree was at a good distance, I decided we should walk faster.
When we got down to the end of the street I looked back and the winged creature was on top of the house two houses up looking at us. So I scooped up my small dog and hurried to my house.
Suddenly a bunch of birds at my neighbor's house took flight. So I looked at my neighbor's house and looked up at the roof, where it was staring at us. He seemed to be only about 3 feet tall but he was all black. I then ran to my door because obviously, he was following us. I have not seen him since but I do keep a watch on my pit bull to see if she gets fearful again.
I looked all over the internet after we saw it because I wanted to report it to somebody but I didn't find anywhere that I could and I just heard about your website from watching a YouTube channel. Feel free to contact me anytime. Thank you. TF"
I contacted the eyewitness and received the following information:
'TF' stated that she was walking her dogs in their McAlpine residential neighborhood in Charlotte, North Carolina (I do not want to share the specific address) this past spring.
The dogs were acting up and looking in the direction of a large tree in a neighbor's yard. The pit bull was cowering from fear, which was very unusual according to TF.
As TF looked into the tree she saw the 3-4 foot tall winged humanoid standing on a heavy branch. Herr and the dogs started to pick up speed and headed toward their home. But when she looked back the winged creature was now perched on the roof of the house. It was at night and the moon was bright enough that she could make out some of the details.
She picked up the small dog and literally ran to their house. When she got home the winged humanoid was now on the roof of the house next door. As she watched it the creature walked off the roof and dropped to the ground, standing on her lawn.
TF described it as 3-4 feet in height with a humanoid body with bat-like wings that were unfurled reaching 10-12 feet in width. It had human-like arms that were detached from the body. The legs were also human-like but the knees were bent. The hands and feet were human-like with talons. The head was oversized compared to the body, and she could now see the orange-red glowing eyes. The color of the creature was a dark gray color and looked hairy. TF also mentioned 'horns' on the top of the wings. She never observed the creature flying.
Later, this past early June, TF saw a similar, though slightly different, winged humanoid on the roof of her house. The same description as before, but the eyes were glowing green in color. That was the last time she observed the creature.
She and her housemate have been hearing a shrill, screeching sound outside the residence since the initial encounter. Lon
