Two brothers are in their room with the window open. The witness later hears his brother talking to someone outside the window. After a while, things become a bit weird.
I received the following account from a reader:
"Hi. I decided to send this to you. It's been bugging me for a while. I live in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania suburbs in Bucks County. It was summer last year. It's way past evening and pitch black, and my brother and I are chilling in our room with the window up with a screen window.
Anyway, I get up to go to the bathroom. While in the bathroom I hear my brother talking. The strangest thing is, I didn't hear my mom come down the hall. I finish up, come out of the bathroom into the hall, and peer into our room.
My brother is up to the window talking to this random dude. Now, our window faces the front of the house, but it's a corner room. To the left of it, is a rather short but dense woods. Our suburb is disconnected by avenues, and many in between have these patches of trees. The dude's rambling off some nonsense, I can't recall exactly, but he was looking for something or someone.
"Have you seen my friend?" He keeps asking and asking. My brother keeps telling him no over and over, even starting to raise his voice about it. Seeing no resolution to this, my brother shuts the window. Just moments later, we hear our front door's knob RATTLE. Thank God we keep it locked after hours. Being nosy, I peek out the front blinds... and nothing. With no way to enter, this random dude seems to just disappear. I say that because we have a good view of the rest of the front yard, and we never saw him leave the porch after trying the handle. There are many dogs in our neighborhood and they will usually go crazy if someone is roaming around at night. In this instance, they were completely silent. Very weird.
How did we not see this guy? I talked to my brother and asked what was going on and he practically retells the whole thing. Except, apparently, this dude came from the woods in the dead of night. The dude was an older man who was looking for a friend. My brother said that he had never seen the dude before.
We told my mom in the morning, and she played it off as a druggie. Considering other creepy stuff that happens here, like a random air raid siren and strange lights in the woods, I'm more inclined to believe something involving a cryptid. Neither of us has seen this dude since." Y
NOTE: I emailed the witness since it's an area I'm familiar with and we have received several cryptid canine reports from there in the past. The area is also known for UFO activity. Lon
