A Fredericksburg, Virginia man wrote me to ask if the 'knocking' sounds around his property late at night could have been from a Sasquatch.
I received the following email:
"Phantoms & Monsters. I found your contact email on Google. This activity has been occurring every couple of nights from the woods in front of my house. I would stand outside on the deck after getting home from work around 2 AM.
There would be these erratic sounds, no pattern, that to the best description I can make is like someone down in the woods cutting down a tree at around 3 AM. There'd be a few strikes, then silence.
Once, whatever it was, did it directly down from my deck, then ran to my right around the trees to the side of my house and made the noise there. It freaked me out how fast it could move. Probably covered a few hundred feet in a dozen seconds.
I don't know if it's associated with tree knocking or whatever Sasquatch does, cause it sounds just like someone taking a hatchet to a small tree.
I'll admit, I haven't even been down there to investigate during the day. I really want no part of this, and if it is a person then it's a deranged one messing with me. I almost get the sense whatever it is attempted to lure me into the woods
It does continue, though not as regular as the week previous. I live near Fredericksburg, Virginia. What do you believe it is?" S
NOTE: I wrote to the witness stating that it's possible that it could be a Bigfoot, though I do have some doubts. What do you think? Lon
