A well-dressed man with a gaunt/thin face and supernaturally piercing eyes is noticed recording people in a Starbucks. He seemed so out of place and disturbing.
I received the following account:
"I had an extremely uncomfortable experience recently and I’ve been thinking about it constantly. I promise what I’m saying is true, but as a random person on the internet, I don’t expect to be taken seriously.
I was doordashing and picking up an order from Starbucks and there was an intriguing-looking man right in front of me. He was taller than me (I’m 5’11), well-dressed, long, thick, dark hair, pulled back in the tightest damn ponytail, a gaunt/thin face, and supernaturally piercing eyes. I got a super weird feeling being by him right away. I was mostly minding my own business, but eventually noticed he was discreetly filming everything happening in the store with a smartphone. Behind the counters, customers reading, people in line, busy workers, all of it.
People started to notice him filming and it seemed like the more people saw, the more obvious he made it until he was holding his phone up above his head filming me and following me with his front-facing camera as I tried to step out of the shot (I am not a fan of being filmed without permission I guess) and then he got to the front of the line. He continued filming and was whispering. The barista was getting frustrated not being able to hear him. Turns out he just wanted black coffee.
I get to the counter (I pick up orders from this location frequently so I’m friendly with the staff) and ask the woman up front if that seemed weird. She was wide-eyed and said something along the lines of “Who was that? What was that about?” So the general consensus is this dude seemed extremely off and out of place. So, I grab my order, return to my car parked on the side of the street, and as I’m starting my car I see him again. He was in the car in front of me, filming me through a sideview mirror. I was so shocked I didn’t really know how to react. Immediately after, I started my car and drove past him, pretending to take a picture of him with my phone while passing him. It was the only thing I could think to do to “get back” at this weirdo while I was working and trying to be somewhere in a hurry. Haven’t seen him since." M
