PTEROSAUR-LIKE CRYPTID Reported at Lake Ouachita, Arkansas

Two brothers were at Lake Ouachita, Arkansas when they both observed a strange flying creature, that the witness described as similar to a pterosaur. What did he observe?

The following account was forwarded to me:

Hi, Lon. I just watched your 'Monstrous Birds' video on your YouTube channel. I've never mentioned this online or in person, but quite a few years ago, I was at a family summer camp on Lake Ouachita near Hot Springs, Arkansas. It had to have been around 2010-11. My brother and I saw something we could only explain as a pterosaur-like thing flying maybe 20 feet up.

We were walking toward "The Point" there was a shale "beach" the only place you can go that's on the water and open freely all day. It was a tannish color, maybe 6-7 feet total span. We looked up because we heard a crickety chirping noise, unlike any bird I've heard. It was maybe 10 feet in front of us and just as soon as we saw it it was gone into the trees.

I'm thinking it could be some kind of light-colored bat? The only problem was it was in broad daylight. Maybe it was a bat that was sick? It had a beak though. It was flying (coasting not flapping) away from us by the time we saw it. The wings 100% definitely looked like a bat or the same type of wings you see when you look up pterosaurs.

I don't think it was any kind of toy plane, drone, etc. I'm all for a logical explanation. This was in central Arkansas during the week of late June/early July. They have a July 4th celebration of fireworks every year during that week of camp. I don't know what kind of bats live there." J
