USAF B-21 Looks Like ALIEN CRAFT!
The United States Air Force released its first official photos of the new B-21 nuclear stealth bomber in flight.
"We are in the flight test program, which is proceeding well," said Andrew Hunter, assistant secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics. "It is doing what flight test programs are designed to do, which is helping us learn about the unique characteristics of this platform, but in a very, very effective way."
Each of the aircraft costs $700 million.
The B-21, meant to replace the good ol' B-1 and B-2 bombers, is described by the Air Force as a "long-range, highly survivable, penetrating strike stealth bomber that… will play a major role supporting national security objectives and assuring US allies and partners across the globe." Why Are ORCAS Smashing Boats?
For four years now, orcas have been ramming and sinking luxury yachts in European waters, and scientists have struggled to work out just why these smart, social animals had learned this destructive new trick. But it's not due to some anticapitalist 'eat the rich' agenda, nor is it to do with territory and aggression. The truth is, well, it's child's play.
Following years of research, a team of biologists, government officials, and marine industry representatives have released their findings on why one particular Orcinus orca group has developed this destructive streak. And it turns out, orcas – especially the kids and teens – just want to have fun. The report reveals that a combination of free time, curiosity, and natural playfulness has led to young orcas adopting this 'trend' of boat-bumping, which is unsurprising for a species that has been known to adopt odd, isolated behaviors from time to time. APE or AFRICAN 'BIGFOOT?'
When Congolese villagers first encountered the 200kg animal, they feared it was a “devil” or a “monster”. Six years on, the “Chimporilla” has eluded classification because the world’s top primatologists are split on whether it's a gorilla, chimpanzee, hybrid, or some strange new creature.
One conservationist has declared it's confounding mystery similar to the legendary North American "Bigfoot".
Kisangani University’s Dr Casimir Nebesse was part of a team that retrieved the Chimporilla's lifeless body from a tree and collected it for scientific research in 2018. He had been contacted by villagers who claimed to have killed it in self-defense. “They told us this animal had made trouble. It destroyed the crops, banana plants, cassava, then it began to attack the population of this village," he told Yahoo News Australia.
