Is There ALIEN Evidence?
Ever since we landed rovers on Mars, people have been seeing weird things in the photos those robot explorers have sent back that have been claimed to be evidence of aliens – thigh bones, skulls, doors, and many other strange ‘anomalies’ (tiny Bigfoot anyone?). And before there were rovers on the surface, we saw the ‘Face on Mars‘ from a distance.
But even well before that – in the centuries after the invention of observational astronomy – people believed they saw evidence for alien civilizations in the dimly lit ‘dark side’ of Venus, and the ‘canals’ of various planets, most notably Mars. And the people claiming to see these things weren’t random social media pundits, but some of the leading astronomical figures, such as William Herschel.
As the embedded video below points out, despite our discoveries about the solar system having been an ongoing process of disillusionment about the suitability of the Moon and other planets for hosting life, this trend of seeing possible E.T. anomalies has continued up until modern times, from Nikola Tesla believing he was receiving messages from aliens, through to Carl Sagan’s speculations about possibly intelligent life having existed in our Solar System. Recent CHICAGO MOTHMAN Encounter Reported
The Singular Fortean Society was contacted last Monday by Mat Sexton, 33, who said he’d encountered a winged humanoid while driving to work early that morning in northern Illinois.
Before the events of Monday, Sexton said he had seen the creature twice in 2023.
"I've had three different encounters that started around the same time last year in April or May," he told investigator Tobias Wayland in a phone interview.
Both of his prior encounters took place in the early morning hours, sometime between 1:30 and 3:30 a.m.
The first time Sexton said he saw the creature was on US Highway 30 near a town called Hinckley in Illinois.
"I was driving my truck at the time because I'm a semi driver, so I kind of do later night runs," he said. "And going down that road, I saw a huge branch fall off of a tree and kind of like hit [the road] a little way ahead of me. So, I looked up and there was this maybe 12-foot creature. I'm not sure really how to describe it other than it was covered in mouse-brown, short-hair fur. It didn't look leathery."
The creature, he said, "was humanoid."
"It had legs and arms separate from wings, and it came down and went right in front of my truck. It was kind of like when those eagles fall and then unfurl their wings at the last minute and fly off," Sexton said. "That's what it did." Tourist MAULED by BEAR
A Scottish tourist is thankful to be alive after a close encounter with a wild bear sent her to the emergency room.
Moira Gallacher, 72, had been vacationing in Romania with her friend Charmian Widdowson when the women decided to go for a drive through the Carpathian Mountains.
During the outing, the women came across a couple of brown bears and did their best to get a photo of the wildlife.
“What happened was the bear came up to the window at my friend’s side, and no problem. It let us take a picture and went away,” Gallacher said in a video shared by Scottish outlet STV News on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday, April 23. “But I didn’t get a proper picture, so we went back and it was at my side.” Read more at Tourist Mauled After Rolling Down Window to Take Selfie with Bear
