PHANTOMS & MONSTERS NEWS: Authentic THYLACINE Recorded? - FRESNO NIGHTCRAWLER Origins - DEATH by TORTILLA CHIP!

Authentic THYLACINE Recorded?

New footage showing what is being claimed to be an extinct Tasmanian tiger in the wild has attracted huge speculation after years of reported sightings.

The Tasmanian tiger, or thylacine, was one of Australia's most iconic species and the nation's only marsupial apex predator.

However, the population declined dramatically because of hunting by humans and competition with the dingo.

Despite disappearing from the mainland at least 2,000 years ago, the species persisted on the island of Tasmania. Nonetheless, at an average weight of only 55 pounds, the small predator faced threats from dogs and persecution by European settlers. The thylacine was declared extinct in 1986, and the last known one died 88 years ago.

Since then, there have been numerous claims of sightings in the wild but none have led to capture. Read more at Was Extinct Tasmanian Tiger Seen on New Video? Experts Weigh In

FRESNO NIGHTCRAWLER Origins

First caught on camera in 2007, the Fresno Nightcrawler might be one of the most peculiar-looking cryptids to ever (allegedly) walk the Earth.

According to eyewitnesses and CCTV footage, the mysterious, two-legged creature resembles a pair of white pants that can move independently. Imagine encountering that in your yard or during a camping trip at a national park.

Unlike Bigfoot and Nessie, the Fresno Nightcrawler is one of the tinier cryptids to make waves in the media. It is a mysterious, bipedal entity primarily distinguished by its long, extremely thin legs and minimal upper body structure. Its small head seems to sit directly on its torso without a clear neck, giving it a very stark, unusual silhouette.

The creature's overall height is modest, but the legs constitute most of its body length, creating a peculiar, almost stick-like appearance. It moves with a smooth, flowing motion that adds to its eerie presence. Read more at Origins of the Fresno Nightcrawler, a Pants-shaped Cryptid

DEATH by TORTILLA CHIP!

A US teenager died of cardiac arrest after taking part in a social media challenge daring people to eat a single extremely hot tortilla chip, an autopsy revealed Thursday.

Harris Wolobah, a 14-year-old from Massachusetts, died in September after taking part in the so-called "One Chip Challenge"—which involved a single chip produced by Paqui, dusted with Carolina Reaper and Naga Viper peppers.

The dare has manifested in several iterations over the years, with the peppers changing each time. Read more at US teen died after doing spicy chip challenge: Autopsy
