A young woman's best friend dies in an auto accident. She starts to vividly dream encounters with the dead friend, but as time goes on there is more evidence that her friend's spirit is real.
I received the following account:
"When I was 18 years old my BFF died in a car accident. I was devastated, and it took me a long while to be able to wake up without immediately crying. 3 months later I moved 4 hours from home with some friends.
One day I felt exhausted and took a nap. Now back then I never took naps because I hated them, but this day I felt like I had to. I have a dream that I’m visiting my friend Megan at her new home, which happens to be my BFF's old home to stay the night. We’re all hanging out and I say, “What if BBF haunted us?” Where my friends started laughing at me for suggesting it. But that night I woke up to my BFF in ghost form asking me to meet her the next day at 7 pm at the train station. Then I tell my friends about BFF haunting me and they don’t believe it, but they’ll take me to the station. I show up at 7 pm and she’s there. Only me and my friends can see her. She comes up to only me and says she’s sorry she left so soon, to tell her family that she loves them and that she loves me too. She made me promise I’d tell them. I asked if we could hug and she said she wasn’t sure, but we could try, and we hugged.
I woke up from my nap in tears. I told my friend Nat (who was also friends with BFF) about it and she was blown away. But this isn’t even the end of the story. It gets much weirder.
So Nat and I go to the city hall for some important documents. As we’re waiting a little girl is running around just being adorable. Eventually, Nat and I mentioned to each other how similar she looks to BFF, so we ask the little girl her name and I swear to you, she has the same name as BFF.
The same day Nat and I went to Rite Aid to get the film developed and the cashier had the same unique ring BFF had. Apparently, there are only 1,500 of them in the world.
Now I acknowledge these could all be coincidences, but what happened next makes me question everything to this day. I don’t know if I believe in an afterlife as logic says there isn’t, but I can’t deny that what happened might actually be real.
So remember how in my dream Megan moved into BFF’s house? Well, in real life she actually did move into BFF’s old house, only a few months later. (I spent the night there a few times, BFF never showed up). Crazy, I know, but it gets crazier.
So about a year later, I moved in with my uncle and cousin at their house. Nat stayed where we were, which is now 4 hours from me at the time. So I have a dream, nothing crazy, but it’s significant.
Dream: Nat and I are visiting Megan at her parent’s house and we decide to go for a drive at night. Nat is in the passenger seat and Megan is in the back seat and I’m driving. At one point we see someone dash across the road, so we stop and I turn my headlights to see who it is. It was BFF just sitting on a rock. In shock, I open the door and yell, “WHAT ARE YOU DOING?” BFF replies, “What do you mean?” I say, “You’re dead.” And she looks at me and says, “Oh.” And then disappeared.
I woke up and shook it off, just a weird dream. But later that night Nat calls me and we’re talking, but then she mentions she had a dream about BFF last night, and I tell her I did as well. She tells me to go first. I get to the part about someone dashing across the road and Nat screams at me to stop. She then proceeded to finish the dream for me, and she experienced it from her perspective, as the passenger.
It took me years to tell her family about all of that, but once I did I was told by her mom that she believed it was all real because she said she’s been trying to talk to her daughter, but never got a single sign, until I told her story. Her mom said that’s the reason she never got a sign because I was the one who got the message. She was so happy, and I’m glad I could do that for her." G
