An English couple was in East Sussex and relaxing at Winchelsea Beach. They thought that they had some time before their appointment, but suddenly realized a time glitch had occurred.
I received the following account from a reader:
"Hi, Lon. I hope you are well. I’ve enjoyed reading your blog for the past 4 or so years and find it fascinating. I’ve been interested in the paranormal since a boy after being given two books, one on ghosts and the other on UFOs and Bigfoot. I’ve always wondered if anything strange or bizarre would happen to me in my lifetime, be it an event or paranormal experience.
Well, today 25th May, my wife and I had one. We live in Kent, UK and today we took a drive down to the East Sussex coast, Winchelsea Beach to be precise. We took some chairs and a picnic and went to sit on a part of the beach we like as not many people go there. We were mindful of time as we had agreed to view a house for sale in Winchelsea, which was around 5 miles from the beach.
Anyway, we settled down, the time was just after 2pm and we had 2 hours. I distinctly remember my wife saying it was 2.30pm just as we had our lunch. We chatted and took in the sea views and sunshine.
The next thing my wife is looking at her phone and saying, 'Oh my god! It’s nearly 4pm. I thought that it wasn’t that long ago when it was 2.30pm. I looked at my phone and it showed 3.55pm. We grabbed our stuff and raced back as quick as we could to the car, and on the way phoned the estate agent saying we would be 15-20 minutes late factoring in the walk back to the car.
Eventually, we got to the house. On the way my sat/nav on my phone was showing we would arrive at 4.20pm, this is important.
We met the owner who said the estate agent was not there and she wasn’t expecting us until 4pm. At this point, both I and my wife looked at our phones and they now both showed 3.30 pm.
We were both totally baffled and a little freaked out. Somehow we had gone forward in time by an hour and then gone back in time by the time we reached the house - a time slip, glitch in the matrix, I don’t know what else could have happened. It weirded us out for the rest of the day,
