A Colorado woman and her mother observe a UFO that responds to her flashlight. Later, her young son tells her that an 'alien' had been looking at him through the bedroom window!
"On the evening of August 22, 2015, my Mom and I went for a walk to the watchtower with our flashlights and blankets in hand. A quarter of a mile from my Mother-in-law's house we walked in the dark so that we could stargaze from the tower. It was a somewhat cloudy evening but an opening in the clouds above the tower appeared. My 3 children were tucked in bed fast asleep with the rest of the family. It was a cold evening.
We settled on the top of the tower wrapped in blankets fighting off the cold air. The small viewing area of stars was spectacular, with no light pollution. We could see the Milky Way, shooting stars and satellites across the night sky. Soon our perfect viewing area started to cloud over. We moved down to the patio area below the tower and were facing east toward the Sangre de Cristo Mountain range (Colorado).
As we sat there we saw 3 orb like orange lights that were off in the distance right against the mountain range. We were perplexed as we thought that maybe they were cars in the distance. The hot springs a mile away were closing and cars were leaving headed north on the small county road. We then had a perspective on what cars would look like compared to the orange lights. Each time cars drove by the lights disappeared. As we watched they would reappear and seemed to be closer. They moved as though they were scanning the valley floor. Then they would move faster than a car, plane, or drone. They would zoom so fast and then stop. They would move closer to each other and move in strange ways.
I then took my husbands high powered flashlight and flashed it over to the lights. One of the orbs lit up bright as if reacting to what I had done. I freaked! I told my mom we needed to leave. She didn’t want to go. We were trying to get video but my camera wasn’t picking it up, it was too far away. I secretly sent a text to my husband to drive over and pick us up. I wanted him to see what we were seeing. He came over his truck facing east and the lights seemed to disappear. I told him what I saw and I told him to turn off his headlights. The lights reappeared. My husband and Mom wanted to drive over and investigate. I however did not!
We eventually went back to the house and went to bed. This is where the story gets weird!
My turn 5-year-old told me when he woke up that he saw an alien looking at him through the bedroom window. (Mind you we didn’t talk about aliens or UFOs because we didn’t want our children to be afraid to go to Grandma's). So I thought he was just telling a story, he is 5 after all.
Now fast forward to October I am going through my 5 year olds school work and see the picture drawn below. I asked him what the picture was about and he said it’s what I saw down at Grandma's house. I saw aliens and a ship. Okay, I freaked out a little.
Fast forward to April 2016 months after this incident occurred. I found another picture. I asked him again. This time he was annoyed by me questioning him. He said to me, “Mom, I already told you this. I saw this at Grandma's house!” So that’s my UFO experience!"
