A US soldier on a night mission guarding a power plant near Baghdad, Iraq, along with other soldiers, observes and reports a large triangular UFO. The photos he took were confiscated.
I received the following account:
"In 2004 just outside of Baghdad, Iraq while on a night mission guarding a power plant a large metallic triangle-shaped hovering craft appeared over the plant. On the bottom of the craft were large oscillating red lights. From its appearance to its time of disappearance, there was a period of about 30 minutes.
There were about twenty of us soldiers who were eyewitnesses. We reported it to our TOC and within 10 minutes the Black Hawks had it in sight and were approaching when this thing just lifted up silently and zoomed out of sight at an incredible speed.
The photos I took along with my camera were taken away from me and never returned. It seems no one knew what happened to my photos or camera. I was not a believer in UFO sightings at this point in my life, but this event certainly made a believer out of me. I don't know what it was. I can't say it was a military craft or something out of this world, but I know what I saw and it was unlike anything I have ever seen in my life.
My first 8 years of service were in the US Air Force as a crew chief and a jet mechanic so I have seen a lot of different types of aircraft and know a thing or two about flying objects, and this thing was just mind-blowing! At the time this occurred, I was a grunt attached to a Calvary unit." A
