The remarkable sighting took place on April 13, 2001, between 9:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m., over Escaldes Engordany, Andorra by a local resident, his girlfriend, and neighbors.
"Hello, my name is Jesús, I am 29 years old and I am an astronomy fan. Yesterday, April 13, I saw a light in the shape of a boomerang that was hovering around Auriga. After losing it on the horizon, it appeared minutes later in Orion and went up in a spiral, appearing and disappearing for at least five minutes, it changed trajectory at breakneck speed until it disappeared again.
I waited for a while and since I didn't see it anymore I went home and explained what I had seen to my girlfriend, who, getting mad at me, laughed a lot. I went out on the home balcony and saw it again, immediately calling my girlfriend who didn't tell her. I couldn't believe it. I took the binoculars and we ran out looking for a dark place to have light.
The moment had arrived, it was there in front of me. In the sky you could clearly see how my extremities moved, my head was preparing to possibly see a flying saucer in the shape of a boomerang, but to my surprise, I couldn't believe it, it was a giant bird that flew waving its wings that did not stop expel a glow of light with some reddish tones; the body looked perfect; Since it had the shape of an eagle or similar species, I couldn't believe it. It was huge. The distance that more or less separated us, and my girlfriend wouldn't stop yelling, look at him, he's there.
Later, a group of young kids and a neighbor from the neighborhood saw us looking up at the sky and I tell them that I had just seen a 'Phoenix' flying they look at me like I'm crazy, but after a few seconds it moves in front of us again and it was clearly seen. It was a brilliant flying bird reflecting its own light as if it were a saving angel or a spirit reflecting a heavenly light. I couldn't explain it and I'm still trying to accept what I saw. At least I know I wasn't alone when we saw it and that I personally know what I saw, and it was a Phoenix bird.
Legend or not, I know they really exist and I will never be able to forget something as wonderful as what we saw. Whoever wants to believe it should believe it, and whoever is not free to think what they want. I have explained it the best I could but if you can't see it you can't believe it.
