“I had no idea others have seen things like this. I actually have a story to share about something similar.
My experience took place in the fall of 2007. I lived in a somewhat rural area of southern Virginia at the time. I had forgotten to place a letter in the mail before school in the morning. The letter was urgent so rather than leaving it in the mailbox I decided to drive to the post office that night. The post office was only a mile from my home but it was still in a rural area and not inside a town.
It was around 10:00 PM when I arrived and I was getting out to place the letter in the blue collection box. The motion sensor lights outside the office flicked on as I deposited my letter and lit up the area. 50 or so yards behind the post office is an old abandoned building just outside the treeline. I have no idea what it use to be but it's very large and has been abandoned for at least 20 years. Inside the doorway of the building I saw the outline of a person standing there. Given the area I live in I figured it was just some good ole' boy that had one too many.
Being 17 at the time I figured I would give him a scare and get close to the building and flick the high beams on. As I got within 30 yards of the building all the hair on my neck and arms stood on end. I was filled with the most overwhelming sense of dread. The feeling is almost indescribable it was as if I was staring down the barrel of a loaded gun. I decided to stop and just flick on my high beams there.
When I did I was met with the sight of an extremely pale figure. It was short around 5 foot or so, very long jet black hair and some time of dark red dress. It had no facial features whatsoever. I got a very good look as I sat there just staring before I booked it as fast as I could. It never moved and never acknowledged I was there. As far as I could tell never made a sound. Its skin was so pale and had no blemishes or markings. So I refer to it as the porcelain doll. I have been back various times over the years but I never saw it again. I still cannot explain what this thing was and I hope to never have that feeling again.”
