NH Residents Claim Bigfoot Exists

Though scientists are not ready to agree about the existence of Bigfoot, yet some people in the Granite State insist that the huge, mythological creature really exists.

Bigfoot is said to be a mythological ape or hominid-like creature. In North American legends, Bigfoot is generally described as a huge, hairy humanoid. Some people believe that Bigfoot really inhabit dense forests in the Pacific Northwest.

Scott Luca, a resident of Deering, claims that he has recorded "crazy noises" made by a Bigfoot coming from behind his residence. Believing in the presence of a Bigfoot behind his home, he never walks there without a gun.

Claiming the presence of Bigfoot, Luca said, "I heard a noise that was so hideous and loud. It was not a fisher cat. It was not a bobcat. It was loud and demonic . You could see the fur, and the strides they took were amazing."

Last year, Luca and his son showed up for a town hall meeting in the North Country to discuss their encounters with Bigfoot, and they were not alone. As many as 500 people were there, and many of them said they believed in Bigfoot's existence.

Michael Eastman, who lives in Berlin, claimed that he first saw a Bigfoot in 1973. He added that when he saw the huge creature, he could not catch his breath. From there, he never doubt about the existence of Bigfoot. - Bigfoot exists in woods of New Hampshire: many residents believe

Bigfoot Statue Removed From Grave

CHAMPION TWP., Ohio - A very unique headstone in Champion is causing some controversy.

While some consider the statue "offensive," the mother of the young man buried at Champion Township Cemetery says it's a tribute her son would have liked.

23 year-old Trevor Zuniga lost his long battle with muscular dystrophy in January. Zuniga was buried next to his grandfather and as a headstone his family placed a large statue of Bigfoot.

"It was just like so perfect, you couldn't have found anything more perfect for Trevor," said Trevor's Mother, Kathy Zuniga. "That was just one of the things he liked, he enjoyed a lot, like he has lots of different Bigfoot things in his room."

But, a few days ago when his grandmother went to visit, Bigfoot was gone.

"We didn't know anything that happened. She thought someone stole it," said Zuniga.

The family later learned the township had removed the statue after complaints that Sasquatch was offensive.

Township Trustees say they had allowed the statue to remain at the plot temporarily but, had told an extended member of the family it would need approval from the cemetery sexton.

But, after several complaints the family member was notified that Bigfoot would have to go.

"I have no doubt about it that Trevor is in heaven but, it was just something that I could touch. You know, something you could touch and see and talk to that wasn't just a square stone. It was more like him," said Zuniga.

Cemetery rules posted on the township's website, have specific regulations for the foundation of each grave site although they make no mention of the headstones themselves.

Trustees point out that cemetery rules also require families to contact the sexton for approval before a foundation or headstone can be set.

Trevor's mother says she is willing to comply and make any changes necessary to bring Bigfoot back and honor Trevor in a way he would have liked.

Trevor's mother says because of her son's medical condition the family was not able to get life insurance. - Bristolville family surprised over removal of Bigfoot statue from grave

Possibly the World's Longest Snake

A massive reticulated python thought to weigh in excess of 250kg has been captured on Penang island.

The huge reptile, which surprised workers when it turned up at a construction site, was caught by members of Malaysia's Civil Defence Department following a call to the emergency services.

According to reports it took them 30 minutes to eventually corner and capture the snake.

While it currently isn't clear exactly how long the snake is, there are promising indications that it could be even longer than the current record holder Medusa - a captive python in Missouri.

The longest python on record, which was shot and killed in Sulawesi, Indonesia back in 1912, was reported to measure a whopping 32ft in length.
