Daily 2 Cents: Probed by 'Communion' Entities -- Mississippi Bigfoot Stories -- Is it BF or BS?
Probed by 'Communion' Entities
Cincinnati, OH - 1967: I remember an event when I was a kid. I recall waking up in my mom's room and seeing two- what I called big guys kneeling at the foot of the bed- they grabbed my heels and began to pull me. However, they were not pulling my body but like- my soul- was being pulled from my body. (that's what I thought as a kid.)
Shortly after that event, I began to bleed when I had a bowel movement. My mom took me to our family doctor and he asked me "have you been putting things in there?" I was floored by this question, of course. My mom asked him why and he said it looked liked something had torn my colon. I thought I dreamed of being probed by these doctors with hoods on.
Anyway, years later, I saw the movie "Communion" and I almost began to hyperventilate when I saw the "creatures" in that movie. The "doctors" who came to get him, were the exact guys I thought were kneeling at the foot of my bed. They were, in fact, not kneeling but very short with regular sized upper torsos.
At about 16 or 17 two of my friends and I saw, what we believed was a UFO in an area called Mt. Airy Forest, in Cincinnati. We were all in art classes at our high school and we were talking about what we had seen. Our art teacher separated us and had us draw what we each had seen. The pictures were different but, when we discussed the positions we were in we actually had a full view of what we had seen from 3 different angles.
I now live on the top floor of a highrise with a view of 20 miles all around. I have seen strange thing in the sky lately but nothing compared to that event in the forest.
-one last note- I remember waking up after the "guys kneeling event" and I was freezing cold and it was mid-summer and we had no air-conditioning. My mom thought I had put my hands in the freezer to trick her.

Have Aliens Become Extinct?
Even if we do find a habitable planet, could its indigenous life forms have already died out long ago?
Astronomers at SETI have been listening out for signs of extraterrestrial civilizations for years but despite their best efforts have so far come up empty.
While many believe that the reason for this is that the distances between worlds is too great or that it is unlikely anyone within range would be at the same technological level as we are, astrobiologists at the Australian National University maintain that life on any nearby habitable worlds might have simply gone extinct long before we ever started looking.
"The universe is probably filled with habitable planets, so many scientists think it should be teeming with aliens," said study lead author Dr Aditya Chopra. "Early life is fragile, so we believe it rarely evolves quickly enough to survive. Most early planetary environments are unstable. "
The emergency of life on other worlds may be limited by what the scientists have called the 'Gaian bottleneck' which concerns the need for early organisms to modify and regulate the environment of a planet in order to ensure their own survival - something that did happen here on Earth.
"The mystery of why we haven't yet found signs of aliens may have less to do with the likelihood of the origin of life or intelligence and have more to do with the rarity of the rapid emergence of biological regulation of feedback cycles on planetary surfaces," said Dr Chopra. Mississippi Bigfoot Stories
JACKSON - Mississippians gathered in downtown Jackson last Tuesday night to share their stories of their personal experiences with Bigfoot.
The cast and crew of “Finding Bigfoot,” a television show on the Animal Planet network, is spending several days in Mississippi hunting for the elusive creature. Tuesday, cast members and producers of the show heard from Mississippians who said they have had close encounters with the Sasquatch and then plotted the locations on a map before heading out into the wilderness.
The episode is scheduled to air in May, the show’s producers said.
Matthew Watson, of Toomsumba, said he saw Bigfoot five years ago as he was driving home from work.
“I was coming home from work, April 2011, it was about 4:30 in the evening and there’s a little road that I take that has a little bridge,” Watson said. “I go across the bridge and there’s a power line cut. I look to the left, into the power line cut, where there’s usually deer but this time it was a 9-foot-tall, hairy creature running across at full sprint, like a line backer running at full speed down the line. It was amazingly shocking. By the time I had stopped to turn around, it was gone. Gone. Massive creature.”
Watson said he immediately told his wife, Christy.
“I didn’t believe him,” she said. “I thought he was crazy.”
Despite his wife’s disbelief, Watson is adamant in his claims, his eyes growing wide as he describes the “extremely hairy, reddish brown” creature he saw that day.
“There was grass in the field, the grass was 6 feet tall and it was clearing that and it was running full speed,” Watson said. “Take an Alabama linebacker and grow him by 3 feet tall and that’s how big it was ... I could see strands running down it, flowing and moving ... it was awesome.”
Harvey Sprouse said he saw Bigfoot in the mid-1980s when he was a teenager. For 30 years, he’s kept the sighting mainly to himself, only telling one other person. When he heard “Finding Bigfoot” was coming to Mississippi, Sprouse said he wanted to hear from others who had similar experiences.
“I’m excited to hear everybody else’s stories and kind of get it all out there I guess,” he said.
Telling his story Tuesday night, Sprouse spoke in a near whisper.
“It was probably back in ‘86 or ‘87. Me and a group of friends were going down a gravel road and just, there was something standing on the side of the road and it just crossed right by us, in front of the car. I can’t explain it.”
Describing a “big, hairy, bipedal” and “8 foot, at least,” Sprouse can’t come to any other conclusion than what he saw was indeed Bigfoot.
“I grew up watching all the Bigfoot movies and all that stuff,” he said. “It was the only thing I could figure out it was or could be.”
Unlike Sprouse, Pam Carter, of McLaurin, tells anyone who will listen about Bigfoot.
“We are avid Bigfoot enthusiasts,” Carter said. “I’ve been hunting him all my life. We’ve had encounters, my brother saw him within 10 feet of him and he came out on us on some property that I own, probably three years ago.”
Producing pictures of a foot print in mud, Carter said her encounters with the creature “would have made the hair on your arm stand up, or any place else. It was very scary.”
Garrett Bell, also of McLaurin, had pictures as well.
Holding a weathered photo, Bell pointed to a dark image in the middle of a wooded area. The image was taken by a trail camera meant to capture photos of deer.
“If you get a magnifying glass you can see it better, you can see all his features, you can really tell,” Bell said. “I see something. I can’t tell if it’s a Bigfoot but I definitely see something. It was strange. It scared me.”
Tracy Whitehurst of Senatobia said, while he has never seen Bigfoot, he was anxious to hear the stories of those who had.
“I’m 44 years old,” Whitehurst said. “I was born when all of this really got popular in the ‘70s and I’ve really been fascinated by it my whole life. I’ve never seen anything. I’m not a hunter, I don’t spend a lot of time in the woods-but I’m really just fascinated by it ... I like to hear everybody’s accounts and see what they think about it and see where they’ve seen it in the state.”
Whitehurst said he would love to see Bigfoot and catch him or her to offer proof the creature exists to disprove naysayers.
“I want to catch it,” he said. “I know if it’s as big as they say it is that’s not going to happen but, I can imagine, if somebody didn’t believe it, it’s got to be frustrating to see it and no body believe it.”
Watson said he knows there are skeptics but he shakes that off.
“I believe it,” he said. “(Animal Planet) contacted me and I thought, maybe somebody else believes me. Obviously by the amount of people, somebody believes me.”
He added, “I don’t ever exaggerate. People say there are black panthers around here. I don’t believe that. I’ve never seen one. I was on the line with Bigfoot until I saw one.” - Mississippians share Bigfoot stories
