Daily 2 Cents: Fighting Off the Aliens -- Dodging Space Junk -- Revealing the Crop Circle Phenomenon
Fighting Off the Aliens
Promised Land State Park, PA - 5/19/1994: Me my wife at the time now my ex, and our adopted daughter were camping overnight at Promised Land State Park in North East Central PA. We had seen some activity earlier in the night as small lights appearing and disappearing but we did not think much of it. We lived in the Norfolk Va area and saw this all the time. Me and my wife went to sleep in the back camper shell of the truck and our daughter in the front bench seat. We had a sliding window so we were in contact easily. About 2-3 am we were awoke and I was frightened and angered. I remember fighting off grey and some white beings. At first I thought it was a nightmare but, my wife had the same exact experience however she was unable to move and resist them.
I jumped half naked out of the back of the truck to observe a bright light over the lake moving fast to the east and gaining altitude. It was being pursued by F-15 fighters about 3 of them. I recognized the sound of them and the silhouette since I had served in the US Navy. They were followed by a black helo that hovered over the area for a bit. Our daughter was not scared, she told us the little men told her it was ok they would not hurt us. I packed up fast and stopped at the ranger station on the way out. The rangers said it was normal recently but refused to open the door. They were not going to leave the station for any reason. Their voices showed great fear.
We made our was to I 80 rest area and we stopped. The rest area attendant asked where we had gotten the strange print on our windshield? I told him what we went thru and he offered to watch over us if we wanted to sleep a bit. The Print Small width, Long three fingered print with no thumb They were pointed. They had disappeared by the time we woke up.
We never spoke of this again even after our divorce a year later. - MUFON CMS

Dodging Space Junk
A small piece of an old Russian weather satellite forced the crew of the International Space Station to take cover in an escape vehicle for a short time Thursday.
Officials at NASA Mission Control in Houston calculated that the fragment of space junk would pass close to the space station at 7:01 a.m. Central time. Based on the small chance of a “possible conjunction with the station,” flight director Ed Van Cise ordered ISS Commander Gennady Padalka and flight engineers Scott Kelly and Mikhail Kornienko to take shelter in a Soyuz vehicle that is docked at the station.
After the debris passed by safely, the crew was cleared to return to work.
Kelly tweeted his relief: “Happy there was no impact. Great coordination with international ground teams. Excellent training.”
All ISS systems continued to operate normally while the Russian cosmonauts and NASA astronaut were in the Soyuz vehicle.
More than 500,000 pieces of space junk are in Earth's orbit, where they have the potential to do harm to satellites and the space station, according to NASA. Some of this debris is only 2 inches across, but because it travels at speeds of up to 17,500 mph, it can do real damage to anything in its path.
This was the fourth time that a space station crew has been relocated to a Soyuz in anticipation of a possible rendezvous with space junk, NASA said.
After the danger had passed, Van Cise offered a cutting-edge suggestion for dealing with the space junk threat.
“We need to launch a #SpaceSharknado where sharks have freakin' laser beams on their heads #pewpewpew,” he tweeted.
Kelly and Kornienko are in the fourth month of a yearlong deployment on the ISS to help space experts anticipate some of the issues that would arise in a human mission to Mars. Kelly is part of an unusual twin experiment involving his identical twin brother, Mark Kelly, a former astronaut who last flew in space aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour.
Three new crew members from the U.S., Russia and Japan are scheduled to fly to the space station July 22. - For fourth time in history, space station crew forced to hide from space junk

Exhibition aims to reveal all about mysterious crop circle phenomenon
The unexplained aspects of the crop circle phenomenon plus the man-made element of crop circles will be covered in a new exhibition.
In 1900 the appearance of a 600 ft long pictogram in East Field, Alton Barnes, Wiltshire set media and public interest alight and awakened a worldwide interest in this phenomenon, which many believe is the work of aliens.
Visitors to the new exhibition - An Era of Crop Circles 1900-2015 - in St Peter’s Church, Marlborough, will be able to discover the history surrounding crop circles, how they are formed and all the latest theories.
They will also be able to read about local farmers’ views on the crop circle phenomenon and the issues they cause.
It has been estimated each crop circle costs the farmer between £500-£1000.
An event spokesman said: “It is a frustrating situation for farmers to have these unwanted circles appear in their fields followed by a stream of uninvited visitors trampling their crops year after year.
"Even more frustrating is the fact that nobody seems to be able to stop or control this situation that has been growing steadily.”
To help the farmers who are willing to allow access, the Crop Circle Donation Initiative, formerly the Crop Circle Access Pass Scheme, was initiated in 2013 to benefit those farmers who are affected by crop circles. - Exhibition aims to reveal all about mysterious crop circle phenomenon
