Daily 2 Cents: Humanoids in the Cemetery -- Black Hounds Still Roam England -- Ghost Hunters Find Body in Abandoned Hospital
Humanoids in the Cemetery
Reynoldsburg, Ohio - 6/26/1996: My girlfriend at the time, my cousin and I all decided to get some beer and hang out at the Cemetery my girlfriend's parents owned and still own "Glen Rest Cemetery" in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. We were hanging out on the bridge at the pond in the middle of the cemetery. The bridge is made of stone and my girlfriend was laying on the stone ledge, the ledge is big enough to lay on comfortably without falling. We were all looking up at the sky talking when we saw an orb fly across the sky. The orb was mostly red and orange in color but had yellow, blue, and green colors as well. It was silent as it was falling and seemed to land just over the trees about 500 yards away. My cousin and I became very excited and jumped up and started walking in the direction we thought it might have landed. I told my cousin to wait and I turned around to get my girlfriend to come with us. I grabbed her by the hand and helped her up. I turned towards my cousin to lead her in his direction when she started saying "oh my god", "oh my god", I turned to look at her and it was like her whole body gave out and she fell to the ground and pointed in the opposite direction of where we thought the orb landed. I looked where she was pointing and saw a man walk out of the darkness. He looked like a human but I couldn't see any details of his face. He was dressed in black dress pants, and a long sleeve white shirt. Then two men dressed the same stepped out of the darkness behind him. They were coming out of the darkness in a " V " like geese would fly. Then two more men behind them.
My girlfriend was crying saying "run", "run". I said "oh my god" and yelled my cousin's name. He came running towards me and my girlfriend. I think he started walking toward where we thought the orb landed until I yelled his name. I pointed at the entities and it was like we were all froze. Then my girlfriend started to run towards her house located at the front of the cemetery. I turned and ran with her. My cousin seemed to have stood there, and I remember thinking "what is he doing?" "What is going to happen to him?" About a third of the way running to her house her foot sunk in the mud and she fell. I turned and picked her up and kept running with her in my arms. I remember thinking "how am I running holding her for so long" but at the same time I don't remember running at all. Then we were in her drive way. My cousin was there. We all jumped into his truck and drove off. The next thing I remember, it was daylight.
I have seen this same sort of orb one other time in my life when I was a child sitting out on the porch with my fathers good friend and neighbor, but never witnessed these "people" like in this account. - MUFON CMS

Black Hounds of England Still Roam
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s 'The Hound of the Baskervilles' that featured Detective Sherlock Holmes was spun from the legend of mythical huge dogs
Sightings of the Black Hound have been reported all over England since the early 1500’s up until the present day. The Black Hound is often described as an abnormally large jet black dog the size of a cow or a bear, with large claws, fangs, matted or shaggy fur and glowing red eyes.
Many believe the Black Hound to be a beast, however as folklore goes the Black Hound is believed to be a phantom or ghost dog. The Black Hound is mostly a nocturnal apparition, often said to be associated with the Devil. Most common sightings of the Black Hound are at points that act like boundaries such as gates, fences, hedges, bridges, roads, paths and many sightings at graveyards and burial grounds.
Folklore claims that the Black Hounds travel leylines, these are essentially paths that the spirits are said to travel. In old folklore the leylines are said to connect graveyards and lead to the spirit world. The Black Hound is seen as an omen of death.
There are lots of stories about Black Hounds terrorising villages and attacking travellers, not many of which report sounds from the beast that are out of the ordinary, however some have reported a terrifying howl and even that the hound was maniacally laughing.
Accounts of the Black Hounds attacking aren’t uncommon. Suffolk, UK 1577, one Sunday it is claimed a Black Hound made its way into a church, two men who were touched by the beast fell down dead and a third man seemed to have died from severe burns.
Another account tells also of a Black Hound entering a town hall and physically killing two men before escaping.
Even now there are common sightings of the Black Hound. In 2003 a teenager reported seeing a Black Hound when on his way home around midnight, apparently the hound was seen lurking around the bottom of a tree next to a hedge (boundary) and was described as a large Black Hound with matted fur just a little smaller than a cow.
Other phantom dogs are more benevolent and stories exist of people being helped from tight spots. For example Augustus Hare in his book 'In My Solitary Life' recounts a common tale he heard about a man called Johnnie Greenwood, of Swancliffe. Johnnie had to ride through a wood in darkness for a mile to get to where he was going. At the entrance of the wood he was joined by a black dog, it pattered beside him until he emerged from the trees, whereupon it disappeared as quickly as it had arrived.
On his return journey through the wood, the dog joined him again on the dark woodland path, and disappeared mysteriously when he emerged. Apparently, some years later, two prisoners condemned to death confessed that they had decided to rob and murder Johnny that night in the wood, but the presence of the large black dog had stopped them.
Black dogs are also seen as guardians of treasure, especially in Scotland. A black dog was said to guard treasure buried under a standing stone near Murthley in Perthshire, here we have an account of a black dog at an ancient site and as a guardian of treasure.
In summery it seems that the phenomena of phantom dogs is a complex mix of folklore, sightings, and local superstition, which has roots reaching far into the past. There are probably a myriad of different explanations for modern sightings, and a phantom black dog is a powerful archetype, incorporated into modern stories such as the 'Hound of the Baskervilles' by Arthur Conan Doyle. We hope to delve into the mystery further in the future, including some of the many folk tales associated with them.

Ghost Hunters Find Body in Abandoned Hospital
Vicksburg police have recovered a body at the old Kuhn Memorial State Hospital on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
“We found a white female that appears to be in her late 60s with trauma to the head and the body has been sent to Jackson to be processed,” Vicksburg Police Chief Walter Armstrong said Sunday night.
The body was discovered around 7 p.m. by a group of ghost hunters.
“There was some people over at the hospital ghost hunting and they stumbled upon the body, and they took off and reported it to the Warren County Sheriff’s Office,” Armstrong said.
The sheriff’s office discovered the body and VPD began to process the scene.
Warren County Coroner Doug Huskey confirmed the cause of death as homicide, but declined to release the woman’s name.
Vicksburg police earlier Sunday were searching for a 69-year-old Vicksburg woman missing from her house on Drummond Street.
The house showed signs of a disturbance and police began investigating.
Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said the investigation into the woman’s disappearance began when dispatchers received a call from Leland Police Department in Washington County after officers there found the woman’s car abandoned on a roadside.
Leland Police Chief Billy Barber said two men were arrested during a traffic stop Sunday morning, when they were found with a stolen weapon and in a stolen vehicle.
One of the men arrested was cooperating with police to lead them to an area in Sharkey County where he said the men had dropped the lady off.
“The gentleman that we had with us that had been arrested in Leland was to show us where he had let the lady out of the vehicle, but that never panned out,” Armstrong said. “We ended up canvassing several turn roads up there in hopes to find her, but we didn’t.” We don’t believe that he was being truthful, we believe he was lying the whole time and only came back to Vicksburg when we heard that a body had been found.”
The body was sent to the state crime lab in Jackson for processing and identification.
“We’re in the process of trying to identify her and perhaps that will happen tomorrow,” Armstrong said Sunday night.
“We can not say that the body found at the hospital is her, but this body happens to be that of a white female that matches the description of the woman missing on Drummond Street,” Armstrong said.
“I have let it be known to the family that a body had been located and it happened to be that of a white female around the same age of the missing woman,” he said. - Vickburg Post

Exorcism: 'I had a nest of insects inside my body, I wanted to die'
A Catholic priest stands over the forlorn figure of a young Nigerian girl, murmuring prayers and sprinkling holy water as she sobs.
Favour*, a 19-year-old, is constantly scratching, her skin is red raw in places. She believes there is a nest of insects living inside her body- and that they will kill her.
The priest is attempting to break a powerful voodoo spell that binds her to her 'madam' in Trieste, near the border with Slovenia, for the next five to eight years.
Favour, one of thousands of Nigerian women trafficked to Europe to become sex slaves every year, has been told she owes her female pimp €80,000 for her journey. This will take around 4,000 clients each paying as little as €10 or €20 to pay off.
Although the chains tying her to her madam are only psychological, they are extremely powerful.
In their desperation to break the hold over the girls, many of which are sent on the migrant boats crossing the Mediterranean, the Italians have even resorted to get Catholic priests to perform exorcisms on them.
There are estimated to be 25,000 Nigerian girls working as prostitutes in Italy and the numbers arriving rose 300 per cent in 2014, experts say.
Back in Nigeria a witchdoctor had performed a powerful voodoo spell to bring luck for the girl’s journey, she told Italian aid workers.
After leaving her village in the Edo State, with the promise of a job as a hairdresser in Italy, she was taken to a shrine in Benin City.
There, in a terrifying ritual she was made to undress – they cut her pubic hair and toenails and made her swear over the blood of a chicken that she would never betray her benefactor.
Like many others for whom the promised job as a hairdresser did not materialise. Favour believes nevertheless that she has to pay off the debt or face terrible repercussions. Read more at 'I had a nest of insects inside my body, I wanted to die': Revealed, how Italian priests are conducting EXORCISMS to break 'voodoo spells' put on terrified Nigerian migrant girls by traffickers who force them to work as prostitutes
