A program aired on the British Broadcasting Corporation recently held a discussion as to whether or not major religious figures like Jesus Christ and the Buddha were from other planets.
In a religion-focused series titled "The Big Questions", host Nicky Campbell oversaw a discussion asking the query, "Have beings from other planets guided our religions?"
"Last month NASA's Kepler space telescope identified another planet that might have the right conditions for life," said Campbell.
"It will be no surprise to the followers of those religions who've long believed that life - possibly not as we know it - exists elsewhere in the galaxy. Life which has possibly exerted its influence here on planet Earth. Have beings from other planets guided our religions?"
The segment featured two groups, the Aetherius Society and the British Union Of Spiritist Societies, which advocated for the theory that various religious figures, including Jesus, were aliens.
"We believe that various religious leaders from history have an inter-planetary origin," said Mark Bennett of the Aetherius Society.
"We believe that Jesus and Buddha came from Venus, that Sri Krishna came from Saturn, that Saint Peter came from Mars, and so on."
The program also include two people representing Christianity, a scientist who belongs to the Christ Church Southampton and a bishop, who opposed the theory.
"It's very clear if you look at the gospels that there are only three answers as to who Jesus is," said the scientist Liz Weston.
"Either he's mad... or he's bad, he's trying to deceive us [and] his power comes from the Devil, or he is actually who he claimed to be and he is the son of God... none of those say that he was from Venus."
Claims that Jesus might have been an alien are not exclusively made by groups like the Aetherius Society. Presbyterian Minister Barry Downing has often credited phenomenon in the Bible, including the coming of Jesus, to extraterrestrial origins.
In a rebuttal posted on the website Ancient Aliens Debunked, Frank Johnson wrote that the theory of Jesus being an alien "creates a few problems."
"No matter how you look at it, there is no way possible that God as revealed in the Hebrew Scriptures could be an extraterrestrial as most understand the term," wrote Johnson.
"Jesus cannot possibly be an extraterrestrial, hybrid or otherwise, simply because He is one with God the Father. The Bible demonstrates, and Jesus states that He and the Father (God) are ONE." - Christian Post

Light Beam Triggers Trail Camera
Sedona, AZ - 2/8/2015: I don't know if this is where to report this type of sighting but wasn't able to find another site. I have taken numerous UFO sightings, videos, still photos from this property have reported them as well as having seen them in both daylight and at night and from above and nearby the site ever since I purchased the property. I now have hundreds of photos, many in great detail, of the craft and if it is of any interest I will pass some of them along to those who want them. I will give MUFON the email site or they can get them from me and I'll let them send them on.
Recently, I have mounted a trail camera located at the south end of my property/back yard that takes in the area for about 80 yards.
At 7:09:27 PM some movement triggered the camera which is set to take three (3) photo burst with a 10 second delay. At night the film is black & white and the light projected is invisible to both animals and humans.
I am inclosing two photos (one is the original and the other is an embossed of the original photo). The light ray set the camera off and I will let the observer determine what the ray of light is. I have also enclosed the embossed photo so that an observer can see that the light ray apparently has some depth.
The camera worked perfectly since my wife and dog later caused the camera to function when walking nearby within the same time period but minutes before and after.
Also, the camera apparently took photos at 9:29:37 thru 9:29:56PM and all that was recorded was a bright white light that totally blanked out the six (6) photos that were all taken in succession.
During the entire time all the photos were taken no noise, vehicle or aircraft was heard and that can be verified due to my wife having been outside at the time of the first photo burst. No light was observed at the time. - MUFON CMS

Robot vacuum tries to eat woman’s head
Elon Musk and Stephen Hawking both warned us that artificial intelligence would be what ends humanity. Last week a South Korean woman was attacked by her robot vacuum cleaner. Does this spell the beginning of the end?
The innocent woman unsuspectingly purchased her robot vacuum to relieve her daily stresses and not have to worry about vacuuming her floors. But instead, the 52 year old’s robot servant turned on her while she was taking a nap.
The woman, whose name can’t be revealed, presumably for her own safety, was unable to free herself from the machine after it sucked up and trapped her hair.
It may look innocent, but it could turn on you at any moment.
The attack lasted several minutes before she was able to stop it. The woman immediately phoned the local emergency services, with the fire department soon showing up to complete a daring, desperate rescue. Paramedics were also involved in the operation, helping to remove the evil robot from the woman’s head.
She was lucky to escape any serious injury, however the fate of her previously faithful machine is unknown.
Korean Biz Wire noted that in cultures like South Korea it is common for people to take naps on the floor, leaving them more vulnerable to vicious robot vacuum cleaners like this.

Top secret D-Day plans found hidden under hotel's floorboards
Several top secret documents relating to the D-Day landings have been found hidden inside a hotel.
Many of the yellowed documents, which were found underneath the floorboards in a room at the Balmer Lawn Hotel in Brockenhurst, were marked "On His Majesty's Secret Service" and appeared to have been left there over 70 years ago.
Their survival is all the more remarkable given that the building, which was used as an army staff college during World War II, had been damaged in a huge fire back in the 1970s.
"We are still in the process of evaluating the papers but some seem to include code on while others are more to do with the day-to-day organisation of the soldiers," said a hotel spokesman.
"One document refers to D-Day1 - June 7 1944 - and mentions difficulties in setting up a ten-mile telephone cable as troops continued advancing into northern France." Read more at Telegraph

Charles Manson wedding off after it emerges that fiancee Afton Elaine Burton 'just wanted his corpse for display'
Serial killer Charles Manson's supposed budding romance with a woman 53 years his junior has been allegedly exposed as a money-making scheme.
According to journalist Daniel Simone, 27-year old Afton Elaine Burton, now known as Star, was hoping that she would gain possession of Manson's corpse through marriage so she and a couple of friends could put it on display in a glass case in LA.
But Manson, 80, apparently got wind of the plan and now no longer wants to marry Burton.
"He's finally realized that he's been played for a fool," Simone told The NY Post.
The tourist attraction was also something of a non-starter because Manson believes he is immortal.
"He feels he will never die," Simone added. "Therefore, he feels it’s a stupid idea to begin with."
Manson and Burton's marriage license expired on Thursday, though Burton apparently remains hopeful that it will be renewed.
Perhaps Manson had the last laugh though - Simone claims he was always cagey about marriage and might have been stringing Burton and her friends along with the prospect of a wedding as they continued to bring him toiletries and other items.
