By Greg May - In her book, AMERICAN MONSTERS Linda Godfrey asks the question whether monsters will do battle with humankind as part of the evil of Armageddon.
Armageddon – or World War III – is just a matter of a few more political pages being turned when the world sees God destroy the nations that have tormented Israel and her people. Armageddon is the battle the Bible describes where the blood rises to the bridles’ of the horses mouths and one third of the world’s population is destroyed in a single day (Revelation 9:15).
And just where will this battle be fought? On a plain in northern Israel which was once the site of an ancient fortress city named Megiddo – which just happened to be the world’s first military installation dating back to 3000 BC.
Remember Howard Mengers, that famous UFO contactee from the 50s? Mengers didn’t believe those space people when they told him they were from Mars and Venus, speculating they might have been from right here on Earth. Mengers claimed he was told by his ‘space friends’ that ‘Earth is the battleground of Armageddon and the battle is for men’s minds and souls.’ 1
This is not a startling revelation – it’s right out of the Book of Revelation in the Bible!
According to the Bible, fallen angels will interact with humans in the Last Days (1 Timothy 4:1, Luke 17:26, Genesis 6:1-4). NASA engineer Joe Jordan believes Satan is behind the UFO phenomenon – so does Don Lloyd, co-editor of FLYING SAUCER REVIEW. UFO expert Brinsley Le Poer Trench said, “There is obviously a war in the heavens . . . it’s more of a mental affray for the domination of the minds of mankind.” According to Joe Jordan, “The demons know they are doomed to Hell; the Bible teaches that is what will happen to them. But when that time comes they plan on taking as many of God’s creations with them as they can. It’s a cosmic war.” 2
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers of darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” (Ephesians 6:12)
Do these fallen angels include Bigfoot and other monsters?
The Hebrew word for devil or demon is ‘sayer’ meaning ‘hairy ones’. According to the Book of Enoch, the Nephilim were condemned to be evil spirits of the Earth. In his fascinating book THE NEPHILIM AND THE PYRAMID OF THE APOCALYPSE Patrick Heron writes: “We have no knowledge of what happened to the fallen angels who caused the second contamination of the Earth after the Flood. Perhaps they are still wandering the Earth, hiding out in some dark, evil forest, wary of the advance and onslaught of man.”
Does this not describe Bigfoot and other hairy bipeds?
Did not Dr. Melba Ketchum suggest Bigfoot contained mitochondrial DNA from a human female and nuclear DNA from a male angelic entity? Dr. Ketchum is describing modern-day Nephilim. “And as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it also be in the days of the Son of Man” (Luke 17:26). In the days of Noah dwelt the Nephilim and here they also dwell in these Last Days as we eagerly await the return of Jesus Christ. (Son of Man).
God is doing unusual things in these Last Days – revealing secrets He has concealed in the Bible. Jonathan Cahn – in his best-sellers THE HARBINGER and THE MYSTERY OF THE SHEMITAH explains how God punished the disobedient, idol-worshipping Children of Israel with a series of plagues known as the ‘Seven Sets of Seven’. Here is one of them:
“I will send wild beasts among you, which shall rob you of your children, destroy your livestock, and make you few in number.” (Leviticus 26:22)
About 700 AD “a plague of frightening and terrible animals” swept over the Middle East killing many people in Armenia and Assyria. The Chronicon of Denys de Tell-Mahr describes them: “ . . . their muzzle was small and long, and they had great ears, like those of horses. The skin of their dorsal spine resembled the bristles of pigs, and stuck straight up.” It was said that these fearsome beasts easily outwitted and killed many men. They raided villages and carried off children. For some reason dogs did not bark at them. Whole herds of goats and sheep were devoured by them. They ravaged hundreds of square miles of villages before they vanished forever.” 3
Does this not sound like a description of the chupacabra – cryptozoology’s newest monster? Dr. Karl Shuker likens them to being a ‘hedgehog on acid’. Were these monsters that ravaged the Middle East in the 8th Century the same creatures who appeared in Puerto Rico and the southeastern United States in the 1980’s? A chupacabra sighting in Russia in the 1990’s described how dogs did not bark at them. Interestingly, we no longer hear about them . . . do they make an appearance in different parts of the world after so many centuries?
Regarding the ‘Seven Sets of Seven’ born-again Jewish rabbis Jonathan Cahn and Mark Biltz - author of BLOOD MOONS - believe America is under judgement. These men brought the ancient Jewish mysteries of the Shemitah and Blood Moons to our attention which John Hagee describes in his book, FOUR BLOOD MOONS: SOMETHING IS ABOUT TO CHANGE. Cahn, Biltz and Hagee all believe that something BIG is about to happen - possibly this year! Is God pouring out His wrath upon our nation just as He did thousands of years ago when the Children of Israel turned their backs on Him? The ‘Seven Sets of Seven’:
In September 2001 the SEVEN buildings of the World Trade Center were destroyed in the Islamic terrorist attack; SEVEN years later - in September 2008 - the Dow Jones fell 777 points in one day; SEVEN years from then brings us to September 2015 - this is when the last of the four Blood Moons will appear.
“The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.” (Joel 2:31)
On March 20 there will be a solar eclipse, followed by a Blood Moon on April 4 (Passover). There will be one more Blood Moon on September 28. After this one, there will be no more Blood Moons appearing this century - and you can ask NASA about that!
The ancient Jewish rabbis looked to Blood Moons as an omen for the Jews and Israel and the solar eclipse was an omen of judgement for the Gentiles - the rest of the world.
The Judeo-Christian world believes that the next main event to occur on God’s timeline will be the Rapture of the Church - when Jesus Christ snatches His believers off this mudball called Earth. Those who are left behind will have to endure seven years of living hell called the Tribulation - that’s when the antichrist brokers the peace treaty with Israel and her enemies, a treaty that U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry tried to do without success in April of last year.
According to the Bible, 3/2 years into this treaty the antichrist will break it and proclaim himself God by appearing inside the Temple that will be rebuilt in Jerusalem. Those that are left behind and refuse to worship him as God will have their heads cut off! That’s when all hell will break loose and World War III - Armageddon - begins.
If we are to believe certain websites entitled ‘EndTime Guillotines’ the U.S. has allegedly received a shipment of between 30,000 and 60,000 guillotines from China to be used when ‘martial law’ is declared. Could ‘martial law’ be referring to the Tribulation? The prophet John wrote in the Book of Revelation:
“Then I saw the souls of the saints that had been beheaded for their faith in Jesus Christ, for not having taken the mark of the beast or for worshipping the antichrist.” (Revelation 20:4)
If you are left behind - DON’T take the Mark! You will still have one last chance to spend Eternity in God’s Kingdom but you will more than likely get your head cut off by the antichrist.
The days of the Tribulation will bring unspeakable suffering to those left behind. Global wars will bathe the Earth in blood (Matthew 26:6), earthquakes will reshape the Earth as mountains are toppled (Matthew 26:7) and the islands of the sea will disappear beneath the water (Psalm 46:2).
The New Age Movement believes extraterrestrials will rescue humankind from the horrors of the Apocalypse while the Christian world believes the only salvation is from Jesus Christ.
What team are you on?
The Book of Revelation tells us during the Tribulation the Pit (Abyss) will be opened and locusts will be released to ‘torment men for five months’ (Revelation 9:1-5). Don’t you think it is interesting how some ETs appear in the guise of a praying mantis - which is a type of locust? Remember all those conspiracy stories about government employees working side-by-side with aliens - many of them looking like praying mantis - in the undergound base near Dulce, New Mexico?
Could Dulce, New Mexico be the location of the Pit (Abyss) described in the Book of Revelation? The 1947 crash site of the UFO outside Roswell, New Mexico lies on the same 33.33 degree latitude line as does Mt. Hermon on the border of Syria and Lebanon in the Middle East. What - you say? That’s the location where - according to the Book of Enoch - 200 fallen angels gathered to set forth their plans to breed with the women of the earth described in the sixth chapter of Genesis in the Bible!
John Hagee - in his best-seller FOUR BLOOD MOONS: SOMETHING IS ABOUT TO CHANGE - says these locusts will be the size of a horse , now that’s a monster for you!
But what role will these monsters play in the Battle of Armageddon?
Deception - for one thing. John Keel always thought monsters were meant to confuse mankind - that is Satan’s agenda.
Satan launched his Great Deception in 1947 - that was the year pilot Kenneth Arnold observed ‘nine, silvery-metallic objects’ fly past Mount Ranier in the State of Washington. Arnold estimated these objects were flying as fast as 1000mph - in 1947 the U.S. Air Force didn’t have aircraft that could fly that fast. 1947 was also the year of the alleged crash of a flying saucer outside Roswell, New Mexico.
The following year - in 1948 - Israel became a nation. This is the single, most significant prophecy to be fulfilled pertaining to the return of Christ. Ever since Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden Satan has tried to prevent the birth of the Messiah and ever since Jesus was born Satan has tried to thwart His return. The Parable of the Fig Tree really shook Satan up so Satan used Hitler to annihilate the Jewish population during the Holocaust so the Prophecy couldn’t come to pass.
Jesus said, “Unless those days were shortened no flesh will be saved, so for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.” (Matthew 24:22) Those days were shortened when we brought an end to World War II by dropping the hydrogen bomb on Japan. In the meantime Hitler murdered over six million Jews - one third of the Jewish population!
1966 was a banner year for monster sightings - no other year can claim as many sightings as this one. 1966 was also the year the Church of Satan was established in San Francisco; and it was the year of Mothman, the winged entity that terrorized Point Pleasant, West Virginia.
The following year - in 1967 - another Biblical prophecy was fulfilled when the Jews recaptured Jerusalem during the Six Day War in June 1967, fulfilling the prophecy of ‘Jerusalem being downtrodden by the Gentiles until the day of the Gentiles.’ (Luke 21:24)
But the biggest monster of all will be the antichrist - a political figure just waiting in the wings to make his entrance onto the world’s stage - who will put together a world government - a New World Order - which he will rule as he receives his power from Satan (John 17:12, 2 Thessalonians 2:3).
Israel becoming a nation in 1948 with the re-gathering of the Jews to Israel and the EXTREMELY rare alignments of the blood moons and solar eclipse are the major indicators that our Age is just about over and God is about to turn the pages of history.
