Monsters and Mysteries in America IS BACK!
Season 3 Airs Saturdays 9/8c
In communities across America, local legends passed down generation to generation tell of monsters hunting nearby woodlands, ancient spirits walking amongst the living, and alien creatures paying earth a visit. But these aren't just your scout master's campfire tales. In MONSTERS & MYSTERIES IN AMERICA, hear directly from everyday people who have had close encounters with real-life folktale fiends. With America's dense forests, desert grasslands, and hundreds of miles of uninhabitable wilderness, no country could house - or hide - so many mysterious creatures.
Each episode of MONSTERS & MYSTERIES IN AMERICA focuses on a different American region and features stories of people who claim to have encountered creatures of local legend.
In the season 3 premiere on Saturday January 17th, the infamous Men in Black have been spotted around the world, suppressing witnesses and destroying evidence. Are they government agents or something more sinister? Stories included in this episode:
Beginning in the 1940s, G-Men clad in black Suits show up shortly after UFO sightings. Their goal: to keep people from talking, no matter what.
Not all of the Men in Black are believed to be human. One family in West Virginia details their encounters with the “grinning man” – Indrid Cold – a being of extraterrestrial origins and impressive telepathic power.
Others have claimed encounters with the Men in Black described as demonic. One man recalls such a visit by a black-clad emissary of the devil, a being capable of adapting to any surroundings, bent on obscuring the truth and threatening anyone who gets too close.
NOTE: Later in the season, Monsters and Mysteries in America will present a segment concerning the Mantis Man sightings in the Hackettstown, NJ area...for which I was interviewed and recorded. Here's the trailer for the Sykesville Monster segment that was presented in Season 2. Lon
