Daily 2 Cents: Gweek River, AK Bigfoot Sighting -- Desert Reptilian Humanoid -- China's 'Jade Rabbit' Lost

Gweek River, AK Bigfoot Sighting

This last summer a family of salmon berry pickers were traveling up the Gweek River when one of the members saw a large, dark figure on the bank along the river.

Margaret Nagasiak, or “Ekie” as she is known by her friends and family, was the one who saw the dark figure along the river. It was a very tall man, black and dark. Ekie said that she had felt like something was watching them. She noted the sighting to her brother-in-law.

“My brother-in-law thought it was a tree,” she said. He had quickly glanced at it since he was also driving the boat. The family stopped to take a look. They climbed a hill and looked around but did not see anything.

The date was July 28th, 2013. The weather was perfect for berry picking – beautiful and warm, a little breezy. There were lots of berries. Nearby was some bushy and treed terrain.

With Ekie was with her sister, her brother-in-law, a nephew, her sister’s granddaughter, and the family’s golden Labrador.

While picking berries, Ekie’s sister found some large footprints on the tundra on the side of a hilly area. The larger footprint was approximately 12” long – much larger than a human footprint. The prints were fresh and very distinguishably footprints. The larger print was approximately 12” long. The other one they found was smaller and more narrow.

“Like they were made by a male and female, or a baby,” said Ekie describing what they saw. Ekie photographed and also took some video footage of the footprints and the surrounding area.

Ekie said that maybe that tall being she had seen had made the prints. The family picked in the area for about an hour before moving to another spot.

“At home we call them Bigfoot,” she said. Ekie is from the Yukon River area. - Delta Discovery

Reptilian Humanoid Startles Bikers in the Sonoran Desert

TUCSON, Ariz. — A group of three mountain bikers reportedly saw a reptilian humanoid last week in the middle of a trail located in the Sonoran desert.

The bicyclists were riding the 24 Hours in the Old Pueblo race course, a 17 mile trail, when they spotted the creature.
“It’s a tough one,” said G. Johnson, 34, a self-described businessperson from Tucson. “It is a 24 hour track, so you better come prepared with more than enough food and water. There are times you just wanna go back and wish you had never got there in the first place. But when you see what nature has to offer you here…well, those regrets dissipate rather quickly.”

Johnson states that he and two other friends were half way into the track when something “terrifying” made the group consider cancelling the ride.
Desert“We had been riding for about… I don’t know maybe nine hours, taking breaks every now and then. Then Michael says he needs to stop for a minute. We are waiting for him to finish when all of a sudden we see this long figure walking across the trail. He is maybe about 6-foot tall, very very skinny, and it had an awkward gait, like a monkey…or a man with a disease, almost robotic, kind of,” More at Cryptozoology News

China's Jade Rabbit has been permanently lost

Interesting...the loss of China's lunar explorer, which the Chinese government used as achievement propaganda, barely gets a mention when it fizzles out.

Ten-year-old joyrider claims to be dwarf

A ten-year-old Norwegian boy took his toddler sister for a joyride in the family car, ending up in a snowy ditch posing as a dwarf, police and media reports said Wednesday.

The children had travelled around ten kilometres (six miles) towards their grandmother's house when a snowplough driver saw the automatic car stuck in a ditch on a quiet country road in south-eastern Norway, according to the police, who were informed at around 6am.

"This seems to have happened on an impulse. He woke up at night, his sister was also awake and he decided to take her for a ride," said Kai Lyshaugen, a local police officer in the southern region of Vestoppland.

According to the Norwegian daily Dagbladet, the boy told the snowplough driver that they were on their way to their grandmother's house about 30 kilometres away.

He later told another snowplough operator that he was a dwarf and had wound up in the ditch when making a hasty U-turn to go home for his driving licence.

The young boy and his 18-month-old sister, who was sitting on the passenger seat without a seat belt, were unharmed and cheerful when they were found.

"He asked for help to tow his vehicle so they could continue their journey," Lyshaugen said.

Police returned the children safely to their parents. - TheLocal
