Daily 2 Cents: Pyramid Found Off Coast of Azores Island...Atlantis? -- PsuedoSquatch -- Buy House...Buy Ghost

Sixty Meter Tall Pyramid Found Off Coast of Azores Island

Legends of an advanced prehistoric civilization know as Atlantis have been around since the beginning of history, but previously those who searched for it were divided whether or not it was located near the Azores, South America or elsewhere. From as far back as Plato it was suggested the original builders of the pyramids lived west of Gibraltar, but findings of Machu Picchu, and other curiosities in the Mediterranean, led people to believe it was on the other side of the Atlantic.

According to Diocleciano Silva, the newly discovered Pyramid is sixty meters tall with a base of approximately 8,000 square meters. It is around forty meters below water and aligned with the four cardinal compass directions, similar to the Great Pyramid of Giza.

The Azores are a chain of nine volcanic islands in three main groups that are 930 miles west of Lisbon. They are above what is known as a geological triple junction where the North American, Eurasian, and African tectonic plates meet. They were recolonized in 1941, but artifacts have been found suggesting they had been previously inhabited. Those artifacts are thought to have predated Christ by a few thousand years, but the location of the pyramid has been below water for 20,000 years since the last ice age. - Video link

Lon's 2 Cents: In 2010 after an RV training session, I had noted that if there had been an Atlantis it would probably be 'part of the Azores.' It's interesting because the target of the remote view was the Great Pyramid of Giza. I find this recent news intriguing. I have had some passing interest in Atlantis and Lemuria, but nothing that I have ever deeply researched. What can we make of this new discovery? Lon

OMG! Saturday, as part of the Kinzua Bridge festival they held a "Bigfoot calling contest". I'm not really a believer of Bigfoot, and was busy Saturday, so I did not attend.

But my girlfriend and I did attend the Bridge festival on Sunday Afternoon. As we were headed back to Bradford in the late afternoon, I got a glimpse of what looked like two large, dark silhouettes in the forest.

I was able to stop the car and get the following amazing photos! They seemed to be heading in the direction of the Kinzua Bridge .... in the direction of the Bigfoot calls the day before!

The larger one seemed to be about 6 1/2- 7 feet tall and the second one was about 5 1/2- 6 feet tall.

We were not sure WHAT they were, but we were both certain they were NOT two bears walking on their rear legs!

Like I said before, before this sighting, I never believed in Bigfoot. I'm still not sure what we saw.

I'll let these photos speak for themselves!

The photos were not altered in any way at all besides me shrinking them to fit on the page, and adding text to the very first one. - Bradford Today

Man caught floating into USA on marijuana filled duffle bag

A man was arrested off the coast of San Diego trying to swim into the U.S. while floating on a duffle bag full of pot, officials said.

U.S. Border Patrol Agents arrested the unidentified man Sept. 19 after spotting him approximately 600 yards from shore just north of the U.S./Mexico border.

The swimmer was floating on a duffle bag holding more than $23,000 in illegal drugs, agents said.

Inside the bag, federal agents said they found seven bundles of marijuana weighing more than 50 pounds.

The man, described as a 55-year-old Mexican citizen, was taken into custody by the U.S. Border Patrol

Beijing: Buy the House...Buy the Ghost

It was 1949, and the Communists had just defeated the Nationalists in the civil war. Legend has it that during the losing army’s rushed retreat to Taiwan, a high-ranking Kuomintang official living in Beijing abandoned his wife, leaving her to fend for herself as the Communists marched into the city. Devastated, the wife (some say she was his concubine) hanged herself from the rafters of their three-story French Baroque-style home.

The spirit of the spurned woman, local residents say, has haunted the house ever since.

Today, with its floor-to-ceiling cobwebs and crumbling floorboards, the house, Chaonei No. 81, certainly seems like the ideal breeding ground for paranormal activity. However, unlike the famously ghost-ridden Forbidden City, which hosts droves of tourists every day, the Chaonei house has sat dilapidated and deserted for years, a quiet enclave amid Soviet-style apartment blocks and glittering modern buildings.

According to local legend, the Qing imperial family built the mansion as a church for British residents of Beijing. It could not be more of an anachronism, with its red brick facade, mansard roof and stone quoining. Yet, there has been a surge of interest in the house in recent years, with videos circulating online and word of mouth building about a new film set at the house.
