Another tubular UFO over Tennessee - possible alien encounter
Johnson City, TN - 10/16/2012 - unedited: I was in my front side yard taking pictures of flowers and felt a presence. I stood up and turned facing west and was going to take pictures of fall trees when I observed a long circular white tube which had thin black segments at regular intervals extending from object in the sky that curved toward me. At end of tube appeared to be a dull metal shield which opened like your top eyelid revealing a man who appeared to be in early 30s with black curly hair w/beard and mustache dressed in white robe seated and appeared to be working controls. The surface at end of tube appeared to be oval shaped and had black edges with amber color in middle but I could see man inside. Man never looked at me but I felt like I was not supposed to observe. I remember remarking "so thats how they do it" as the tube retracted back up to ufo and disappeared into bottom of object. This took about 25 to 30 seconds. There was no sound. There were no clouds in the sky to obstruct view of object. There was no wind. At first I thought it might be a satellite in the sky. I was kind of nervous and felt really strange about what I saw but nothing happened. I questioned if I really saw what I did see. I was not afraid of it or that it would harm me. I just had a sense of curiosity. I went back into my house for about 5 mins. I came back out again to take more pics and to see if the object was still there. It was. I decided I would go to my back yard to take pics of more flowers and a crepe myrtle tree. I then observed the object more nw as if it had moved to observe me. I tried to take more pictures of the object as I could still see it with my naked eye but could not find it thru the lens of my camera. I did observe a jet leaving a trail at the time the object was in the sky. I tried to take several pics at different areas of where ufo was located to see if I could capture it again with my camera but to no avail. When I blew up the picture on my pc, there was a distinct glow of color around object. There were no wings or obvious fuel tank, etc. My daughter, who works in Johnson City for the local telephone company, along with fellow employees who were taking a break about 11:30 AM the same day, also saw the same object and many of them thought it was a satellite as well. They did not observe the tube. I was able to take 2 pics of ufo but quality was not the best as I had to zoom out my lens to get a picture and only limited zoom on my camera. - MUFON CMS

Mile High mystery: UFO sightings in sky over Denver

It’s a mile high mystery in the skies over Denver.
Strange objects caught on camera flying over the city and nobody can explain it.
We first learned about these sightings when a metro area man, who does not want to be identified brought us his home video. He captured the images on his digital camera from a hilltop in Federal Heights looking south toward downtown Denver.
He said, “The flying objects appear around noon or 1:00 p.m. at least a couple of times a week.” The strangest part is they are flying too fast to see with the naked eye, but when we slowed down the video, several UFOs appear.
We altered the color contrast to make it easier to see. You can take a look for yourself by watching the video clip.
We wanted to verify the video we saw was legitimate and not doctored in anyway. So our photojournalist set up his camera in the same spot, and shot video from just before noon until just after 1:00 p.m. He also captured something unexplained on video.
Aviation expert Steve Cowell is a former commercial pilot, instructor and FAA accident prevention counselor.
He thought he would have a logical explanation, until he watched the video. “That is not an airplane, that is not a helicopter, those are not birds, I can’t identify it,” he said. He also told us the objects are not insects.
He said he knows of no aircraft that flies as fast. He did tell us there is one other possibility. “Perhaps there’s some sort of debris that is being raised up by some of the atmospheric winds.”
But in his professional opinion, “As it fits the definition, it’s an unidentified flying object.”
The FAA tracks all air traffic in Colorado and across the country. The FAA sent us a statement that says, “We`ve checked with air traffic control and no one has had any reports of the activity you described…nor have any of our employees observed anything of this nature either visually or on their radar displays.”
The North American Aerospace Defense Command is located in Colorado Springs. It keeps an eye on the skies in case of an air attack against the United States.
NORAD sent us this statement, “Our Command Center reviewed their records and they did not have any noted air activity in the Denver area during the times you indicated.”
The man who brought the video to our attention believes the UFOs are launching and landing near 56th Ave. and Clay Street in Denver. A Map shows only homes in the area.
So are they UFOs? A secret military test? Floating debris?

Experiencing strange noise

This is something I've been hearing a lot recently and something I've heard before in the past. Recently I've been hearing like a car door is being opened and shut every few minutes.
The vehicles are right outside my window in the room I'm in. I look and no one is there. I know no one is there. I heard it this morning around 4:20 am, its November 11. Today. I was up with my husband as he got ready for work. I dropped him off. It was so loud I actually felt the door shut. I thought my brother in law might be going to work but he was sleep. I hadn't heard this before in this location until this past week. I actually felt when the door was shut. But i heard it more than once and felt it more than once. Very strange. The weird thing is I used to hear this back when I lived in Laredo, Texas. I'm in Hebbronville, Texas currently. I was around 18-19 at the time I was hearing this. Again the car port was right by my window. Every night id hear the car door open and shut. Like someone was getting in. Id look and no one there. Ever. this was 1999 through 2000. Now 2012 I'm hearing it again. I wonder if anyone else has experienced this. Its just bizarre. The vehicles are locked. Its kind of annoying because it repeats over and over. I don't know what could explain this. Thanks.
