Man tells of 'unearthly' UFO over his Melbourne home
Albanvale resident Ivan, who did not want his surname published, said he filmed the fast-moving disc-shaped object descending and ascending high above his house about 7pm last Tuesday.
He said a neighbour called him outside to witness the spectacle, both looking on in astonishment.
"I have dismissed a lot of things thinking of what it could be," Ivan said.
"But I am left with very little other than to think it is something unearthly."
Ivan said he recorded about eight minutes of footage, but the object lingered in the sky for around an hour.
He claimed it changed colour - switching between green, red and blue - and for several seconds at a time disappeared.
The object supposedly met or released another object as it flew away.
"The manoeuvrability and agility of it was phenomenal," Ivan said.
"It was quite extraordinary."
Ivan said he was speaking with a television network about selling the footage.
Sceptics claim the object may have been a remote controlled toy plane but Ivan was adamant this was not possible. - heraldsun

Extraterrestrial-like Time Traveler Saves Man From Truck?

UFO Sightings Daily reports on 16 September 2012 that an apparent alien saved a Chinese man who was about to be run over by a truck.
Why would the reported alien seek to save the human shown in the video relative to other humans who may be subjected to similar accidents in China?
UFO Sightings Daily is coordinated by Scott C. Waring, who is a UFO researcher and author who has become an honorary astronomer through his independent investigative research on anomalies in space and on planets like Mars. Mr. Waring had been affiliated with the United States Air Force at SAC base (USAF flight line). He currently owns an ESL School in Taiwan.
Mr. Waring described the scene before the apparent time travelling alien teleportation.
“Since I live one hour away from China (Taiwan) I can tell you this is a typical scene you will see on the road everyday, minus the teleportation.”
It is apparently somewhat common for fast-moving trucks in Asia to cause traffic fatalities.
“Yes these trucks travel fast in Asia. I saw three accidents caused by such trucks three times on the same corner in one week…all hit a parents car…nearly 10 metres from a elementary school. So yes, the scene is real.”
Mr. Waring further elaborated on the scene before the apparent time travelling alien sighting.
“The clothing they are wearing is normal since its extremely hot right now (80-90 F) and the bicycle is used by poor people who recycle the goods others don't want…police don't bother them. In all this looks 100% real.”
Mr. Waring described the physical features of the alien who is show in accompanying video (below this report).
“Also note, the alien's hands, feet and face are glowing. An effect from changing from humanoid form to light and back to humanoid again. Watch how he hides his face and hands immediately as he leaves the scene.”
In the video, the startled and shocked truck drivers comes out of his truck, and passes by the apparent alien before the possibly alien returns back to their time-space continuum. The human who has speared being run over also appears shocked.
In J. J. Abrams’ “Fringe” on CTV in Canada, depicted alien characters called “the Observers” had sought in one episode to effect the human space time continuum by “correcting” an event. Richard’s on the trail of Littlefoot

RICHARD Freeman is a long-time pal of mine.
Over the years we’ve shared conference platforms together, chased hairy ape-like monsters and generally engaged in a variety of other pursuits, both mundane and bizarre.
Richard is one of the world’s greatest experts in the field of cryptozoology – the study of mystery animals – and as regular readers know has written quite a few books on the subject.
His latest contribution is entitled ORANG PENDEK: Sumatra's Forgotten Ape
In it, he details his ongoing search for one of the earth’s most enigmatic and elusive creatures.
When people think of hairy bipedal mystery animals most picture Bigfoot, but, as Richard points out, “for every Bigfoot there’s a Littlefoot”.
What on earth could he mean? Well, the Orang Pendek fits that description perfectly, for most estimates place it at around 5ft in height.
With its nut-brown hair and immensely powerful limbs, the Orang Pendek roams the jungles of Sumatra and has, up till now, managed to avoid being captured and taxonomically classified.
Some scholars deny that the Orang Pendek exists, but they are slowly dwindling.
Some experts have actually seen the Sumatran mystery ape themselves, and are interviewed by Richard in his book.
The creature, if not seen, is nevertheless often heard. Those who have been so privileged say that it utters something akin to a long groan followed by two short grunts.
Tales of “Little Men of the Forest” go back centuries, and can be found in countries such as Peru, Brazil, New Guinea, Indonesia and Australia to name but a few.
They may not all be of the Orang Pendek type, but some of them may be related.
One creature similar to the Orang Pendek is the Watu wa Miti of Zimbabwe and Mozambique, which has a terrible reputation for being hostile towards humans, particularly women.
The Orang Pendek is said to be highly intelligent, a fact which would seem to be supported by its ability to avoid detection despite monumental efforts by the likes of Richard and his cryptid-hunting colleagues.
Another red-haired dwarf ape is the legendary Nain Rouge, which is said to inhabit the more remote parts of the State of Michigan in the US.
Like the Watu wa Miti, the Nain Rouge can be extremely aggressive towards humans.
Intriguingly, the Nain Rouge is said to have a green, leaf-shaped patch of skin under each eye, similar to the blue patches seen in the same place beneath the eyes of a mandrill baboon.
Is it really possible that not one but possibly dozens of diminutive ape-like species could still exist, undetected, in various parts of the globe?
It most certainly is.
We tend to think of the USA as being predominantly urbanised, or at least well travelled, but the truth is that literally thousands of square miles of that nation are unexplored.
One question often raised by sceptics is the issue of carcasses.
Why, if such creatures exist, do we never seem to find the bodies of deceased specimens?
One reason is that nature is remarkably efficient at disposing of them, even large carcasses such as those of bears.
Flesh rots or is devoured by scavengers, bones are covered with organic detritus or dragged away by larger carnivores and, often within 48 hours depending on the location and conditions, there will be little left to see. - shieldsgazette

Death Row Man: 'I'm Too Fat To Be Executed'
A death row inmate who weighs at least 34 stone says he is too fat to be executed.
Ronald Post, who shot and killed a hotel clerk in northern Ohio almost 30 years ago, said his weight could lead to a "torturous and lingering death".
Ohio executes inmates with a single dose of pentobarbital, usually injected through the arms.
Court documents submitted by his lawyers said vein access, scar tissue, and other medical problems raise the likelihood that his executioners would encounter severe problems.
It is also claimed he is so big that the execution gurney might not hold him.
Document's filed by Post's lawyers say the gurney may not hold him "Indeed, given his unique physical and medical condition there is a substantial risk that any attempt to execute him will result in serious physical and psychological pain to him, as well as an execution involving a torturous and lingering death," court papers said.
He has tried losing weight, but knee and back problems have made it difficult to exercise, his lawyers wrote.
His request for gastric bypass surgery has been denied, he has been encouraged not to walk because he is at risk of falling, and severe depression has contributed to his inability to limit how much he eats, his legal team added.
Post, 53, is scheduled to die on January 16 for the 1983 shooting death of Helen Vantz in the town of Elyria.
A spokeswoman for the state's prisons department declined to comment.
Inmates' weight has come up previously in death penalty cases in Ohio and elsewhere.
In 2008, federal courts rejected arguments by 19-stone condemned double-killer Richard Cooey that he was too obese to die by injection.
His lawyers argued that prison food and limited opportunities to exercise contributed to a weight problem that would make it difficult for the execution team to find a suitable vein.
