USAF was formed to keep track of UFOs after Roswell crash?
I received this interesting email last evening. Could this be true...that the USAF was formed specifically for UFO surveillance? Mmmmm...I've known several USAF personnel, which includes by father, and have never heard this before. I have been told by reliable sources that 'Project Blue Book' was a ruse to make the Soviets believe that U.S. surveillance aircraft were UFOs...though other USAF personnel have denied this. Read the email and tell me what you think:
I thought you might be interested in the conversation I had with a police officer at Langley Air Force Base last night. He had signed up for my class, and stayed after for about 30 minutes, while we had a fascinating conversation.
I eluded to something in a post about a year ago, about seeing something at my workplace that I wouldn't divulge on my website. I had seen a large, square aircraft hovering over a stoplight when leaving work one night. It was immense. It made no sound, but was moving slowly over the base. It damaged my inner ear, because of the pressure underneath. Another car, and myself sat underneath it while it passed overhead. At first, I thought it was an airplane. I had no idea that I was actually witnessing a "ufo" until I described it to my husband.
I didn't report it.
But, when I told this police officer (my new student), he told me that the Air Force was created - specifically for UFO surveillance. I called my husband, who looked up the dates for Roswell, and for the creation of the Air Force.
Sure enough, the Roswell incident happened two months before the Air Force was created from joint forces - in 1947.
The police officer told me that "very few people knew this."
Now I know it. And, now you know it - too.

Pennsylvania man stoned friend to death because of homosexuality, police say
pennlive - Authorities in suburban Philadelphia say a 70-year-old man was stoned to death with a rock stuffed in a sock by a younger friend who alleged the victim made unwanted sexual advances.
According to the criminal complaint, 28-year-old John Thomas of Lansdowne has told police he killed 70-year-old Murray Seidman because the Old Testament refers to stoning homosexuals. Delaware County authorities announced Friday that Thomas was arrested and charged with murder.
Seidman died in his Lansdowne apartment in early January. His body was not found for days.
Lansdowne police say Thomas is the executor and sole beneficiary of Seidman’s will. It was not immediately clear whether he had a lawyer.

Canadian woman has hit three moose in ten months
An eastern Newfoundland woman, who has collided with three moose since May 2010, is calling on the provincial government to do more to keep the large animals off the province's highways.
"The numbers are increasing obviously. I see them quite often coming and going from work," said Patricia Regular of Harbour Grace.
"The sides of the roads should be cleared so we can see them coming and there should be more moose hunting licences issued to reduce [moose] numbers on the highways."
Regular has written off two cars, but luckily she hasn't been seriously injured. Regular, who has suffered a stiff neck and "a few raw nerves," said all three accidents happened on her way to and from her job in Clarke's Beach.
NOTE: this is not surprising...I have actually had 2 white-tailed deer broadside me in 2 separate incidents while driving on the highway! Damn near hit a moose in New Brunswick as well. I quit hunting....I got the message. Lon
